LACE1

LACE1 can be added to any type of lace footwear and is designed to be easy to operate, even for individuals who lack fine motor skills, as it can be operated with just one hand and can be changed by the user themselves.

We understand that many of our end-users may struggle with traditional laces, so we have developed alternative solutions such as Velcro or wire systems. However, these solutions have the disadvantage that if they break, the footwear will either be defective and have to be discarded or sent for repair.

Furthermore, Velcro and wire systems can also pose problems in ensuring that the footwear stays securely on the foot, depending on the model. In general, footwear is best held in place with a traditional lace.
